I thought of you today. I actually have these moments when I think what if.. would you visit in DC? Would you have sat front row at my college graduation? Would you be proud of the women I´ve become. It always ends with - I hope so! I´m happy for the years I had you as my grandmother and sadden that it was cut short. Every visit with you as a child is still a joyful memory for me. I see your smile and I feel your spirit. Forever Love!

Vashti was my dear friend, confidante, and Soror. I miss our regular conversations and her laughter was infectious. Thank you, Ivy Family, for sharing Vashti and Gary with her adopted family in the Virgin Islands. She will always be remembered with love and much respect

I went to John Hay High school with Vashti also, she was always so energetic, and willing to help anyone, she was a good friend. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. Sleep well old friend see you after while
