Not sure what to say?

Vaugn Baber was one of a kind: always gentle and genuinely interested in who I was, what I was interested in, and what I was pursuing in the Bicentennial Bookstore. He was a veritable fount of wisdom regarding books, especially rare books; but he could hold forth on books and writers of all kinds from all of the ages. He always seemed to relish learning anything interesting that he was not aware of. I shall miss him but never will I forget his generous soul.

Vaughn was a gentleman endowed with a good sense of humor as well as an incredible knowledge of collectible books and their value. I am particularly grateful for the kindness he showed my mother, Theresa Griffin, and the encouragement he gave her with her...

Linette & family:
As you know, Vaughn was a cherished friend of the Missias, Georgiou and MacKellar families. I'm fortunate to have fond memories and hope that your memories of better times will help assuage the pain of his passing. I've said prayers for his soul and your comfort.
Sympathetically,
