Not sure what to say?

I am late to this, with apologies. I had not talked with Vaughn in about 10 years, and his name just popped into my head. I am so sorry to learn of his passing - just three days after my mother. I am so grateful to have worked with him. He was always so kind, knowledgeable, and appreciative. I send my love and condolences to his family.

Vaughn was a member (and later chair) of the Clark County Planning Commission, when I was just starting my career at Clark County. He handled his Commission duties with grace, and was a model of how best to respect and serve his community. Years later, his firm was an applicant in my jurisdiction in Oregon, and I enjoyed working with him again. The CHS Class of `65 will greatly miss Vaughn. He was a true leader, a great friend and always had a smile! It was an honor to know Vaughn..RIP, our friend.

Mr. Lein was a brilliant, friendly, and honest man. I had the pleasure of playing soccer with his son Justin and got the opportunity to meet, listen, and adore him and his family. He will be greatly missed

Vaughn was a classmate, neighbor and childhood friend growing up on Tenth Street in Camas. We spent many hours exploring the Prune Hill woodlands, riding bikes to distant Vancouver and playing days long board games between warmup breaks while sledding down 10th Street on snowy winter days. Thanks for the many great memories my friend. R.I.P. Vaughan

Vaughn was good friend of our Camas family and a room-mate at WSU. Vaughn was always kind hearted and gracious. Condolences to his family. RIP my friend!

I knew Vaughn well at Camas High School where we went to school and played sports. I knew Vaughn as an outstanding individual. My sympathy and prayers go out to family and friends. RIP Vaughn
