Not sure what to say?

I knew Vaughn -he bought Kenworth trucks from me occasionally during my career... my memory to share 20 years after his passing his story he shared with me, fellow Marine me Viet Nam, Vaughn WWII South Pacific... of how he laid for more than a day in shallow water off a heavily protected south sea island his unit was trying to retake - his protection - a very short concrete foundation a 100 or so feet off shore... he waited until the defenders were out of ammo, then advanced... many died...

Vaughn was a wonderful and kind man. He will be truly missed. He gave me my first trucking job and I have been doing that every since. He was very straight forward on everything and never sugar-coated what he was trying to say. Please accept our sincere condolences at this time and remember Vaughn will be in our thoughts. Our prayers are with you.
