Not sure what to say?

Dear Uncle John and family. We just got home from vacation and listened to our messages. Joyce called and told us of Vaughns' passing and funeral. We are so sorry for your loss and know his reunion with his mom (aunt Faye) was wonderful. The promise the gospel gives us of families can be together forever is such a sweet comfort at times like this. We love you and will keep you in our prayers.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you! May you all find comfort in your memories of Vaughn, and in knowing of the sweet reunion of Vaughn and his Mom must be enjoying on the other side. All our love.

To the Smith Family,
What a sweet spirit Vaughn had. He was the one who got me into baseball card collecting and I have many fond memories swapping cards, ripping open packs in the Smith's living room, and hunting him down at J&L to open his card shop for me. He got some of my money but he always gave me good deals as well. Vaughn was my catcher when I pitched the softball games he loved so much. We went to many card shows together and I enjoyed talking baseball and basketball with him. He...

Dear Smith Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I remember working with Vaughn as a teenager at J&L and having great times with him. He would tease me too. I also remember as a kid at your house and Vaughn diving into our games too. I'm sorry to hear of his passing and wish you all comfort.

I miss you Vaughn!! Watching M.A.S.H. will always bring back memories of you! You will forever be in my thoughts and prayers!!

Dear Smith Family,
Thank you for sharing your son and brother! He was such a wonderful man. I missed seeing him around town and in the stores. He was always so gentle and polite. His smile helped me through many days. May you find peace in knowing he is whole and happy, job well done. God Speed, thank you for the memories.

The loss of someone so close is difficult to bear. We are thinking about you and hoping that you are doing okay. I remember his contagious smile when he was around us. Thanks so much for being such a great brother-in-law and for all you have done for us in the past. We love you. Bob and Patti

Thinking of Vaughn brings back a flood of memories on the ball diamond. He loved everything about sports. He loved to play and learn everything about it. He was always at the games on time and even probably slept in his uniform once or twice. When we had a game at 9, he would be there at 6.
One region game, Vaugh even had the game winning hit. As he lumbered to first, we all couldn't have been more excited.
He sponsored some rec teams and some of us still play together partly...

Dear Duane & Marilyn, my heart goes out to you at this time. I'm sure he & Kent are up there having a great time! Just wanted to let you guys know that I was thinking about you and that you are in my prayers.
