I remember Velda from our childhood days; although we only had a hit and miss relationship (her Uncle Earnest's children were military brats ever on the move), the times we shared back then have placed within my breast a remembrance that flourishes today with love and sincerity. I haven't the presence of mind as yet to grasp the horrible significance of her passing, but to be sure it will come and when it does I pray that the same God I am certain has blessed her her lifelong is keeping me...
