Dear Sheldon Family...My family sends dearest regards to you...we just heard about Velda's passing and we are shocked and saddened. She was such a nice person;as a child growing up, I thought she was beautiful! A strong person and a survivor for sure. My mother, Allie Nickell-Farmen sends her condolences and is so sad to hear about Velda..We are thinking of you all. My sisters Jeannie, Alice and Mary also are thinking of Velda..

Dear Velda,

As a child, I will always remember sitting in your kitchen while you gave me home permanents. I also have good memories of visiting with your Mother and your Brother while I was growing up in La Center.

Dear Velda: I will always remember your smile and happy attitude toward life. I haven't seen you for years, you came to Jerry & my wedding 2l years ago, and we,Ken Anderson, myself all shared happy times many years ago, but I never forgot you and your lovable, happy nature.

I am very sorry to hear of Velda's passing, I have always thought of her kindness's. It was especially thoughtful of her to come to my fathers' memorial several years ago. My mother was always glad to hear from her and we had hoped to get together. My prayers are with you all at this time.
