I was so very sad to learn of Veldon's passing and the accident. Glad that you are mending Arlene. He was a wonderful person and I loved working with and for him. His quiet strength was relied on by so many of us. I have so many good memories of Veldon and will share them with you soon. His love for his family and you Arlene was always so evident. I feel so blessed to have been a part of his everyday life for so many years. Sending peace and the hope of...

Arlene,

So sad to hear of Veldon's passing. So happy I was able to see him and visit with both of you at our class reunion. What a shock to hear of his accident but happy you are OK. I hope you are recovering from the accident. My best to you and your family.

Love,

Darla Denning Cook

Sending our deepest sympathy to Arlene and the entire family. During this time of much sadness.

Dear Hix Family,

Veldon was a wonderful friend and mentor during my 14 years of employment at Miles Willard Technologies. I greatly appreciated his unwavering example of the Savior in EVERYTHING he endeavored. It was a boon for me to work with another LDS man such as Veldon. He taught me so much. His example and counsel were invaluable to me as a young college grad and dad. I truly admire him and thank him for who I have become and how he blessed my young family... May the Lord bless...

Veldon will be greatly missed. He was a great man with a quiet demeanor. He leaves behind a great posterity. Much love and prayers for this wonderful family.

Sorry for your great loss. Veldon was a great man, and raised a wonderful family. May the Lord continue to be with your family at this difficult time. Janice Jaynes Hardcastle
