Velma Funkhouser

Remembering this feisty GiGi with fondness.

Though I am no longer part of the Funkhouser family, I remember Velma with great affection. Velma had so much love to share. And when I think of Velma, Charles quickly comes to mind - Charles was such a fine gentleman. May they both (and their deceased family members) be resting in the arms of God, Abba Father.

Velma was a special lady, who loved greatly and deeply,

My life has been blessed by knowing and loving Granny. I can only imagine the dancing in heaven this Christmas!

We didn't know any of Velma's family but we did know Velma. She was a good friend of my mother, Etta Worley, and when she visited my mother, she always made me laugh. Family of Velma, she is gone from this life, but not forgotten. As I will see my mother some day, so shall you see yours. Keep believing in God.
