Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Green's love, compassion, and unselfishness will always be cherished in my heart. I know that this great woman's legacy will live on through her children. Lean on the Lord as HE will carry you through. I'm praying with you, love you all.

Auntie Velma...I will truly miss your love and wisdom. Hugs and kisses i will miss from you but i know my cousins will miss your advice and loving thoughts. You are at peace now but not alone. You are now with grandma and daddy John. Al(nephew) and I (niece) will miss you. Peace be with you till we meet again. (hugs)

I met Mrs. Velma Green when I became a parent volunteer and she was a teacher at Beidler Elementary School in January of 1980. She was a beautiful woman, blessed from the Lord with a spirit of joy and a heart overflowing with love. To the family of Velma Green, I want to extend my deepest sympathy to each of you. Keep looking to Jesus for guidance, because he do not make mistakes.

I would like to offer my deepest condolences to all of Mother Green's family. She will be greatly missed by all and especially myself because she loved me and i loved her back. Church Secretary of New Faith MB. Church, Howard Randolph, Pastor.

Mother Velma Green was a devoted and faithful member of Adult Sunday School Class #14 at New Faith M.B.Church. I loved being her Sunday School Teacher. Each Sunday she brought a smile, words of encouragement, and words of wisdom. She served as an example of a mother that perservered in good works and demonstrated the qualities of a virtuous woman. Mother Green will be missed but her caring and giving spirit will forever remain with me.
