It is very difficult to lose one's mother. I never had the opportunity to know your mother, Art, but I do remember you well from when we both worked at L.H.Field Co. I guess there are just some people whom you never seem to forget.

It is with sincere wishes that my family and I send our sympathy to your family. I have wonderful memories of my Aunt Velma.
Recently we have asked ourselves whatever happened to her. Now we know she had more years on this earth than her sisters, and parents. Knowing the type family she was surrounded by, I am sure they were good.

I was so sorry to read of Velma's passing. I was fortunate to work with Velma at Foote Hospital in the early 1970's as a candy striper, working in the gift shop. I have always admired her, and have thought about her many times in the past years. I didn't know we attended the same church in Jackson, as I had moved away from Jackson almost twenty years ago. My deepest sympathies to her family.
