Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Lemon was my inspiration. Next to my parents she was my greatest motivator. I have known , respected and loved her since I was five years old and that was 69 years ago. I will miss my teacher, mentor and motivator.
Love always,
Allegra Webb Murphy

R.I.P TO MRS LEMON WE MISS YOU R.I.P

To the Family of:
Velma Montgomery Lemon

"Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die". Heaven has truly gained an angel.

Remember

Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave

To the Family,
Mrs Lemon was a friend, neighbor, mentor and a teacher to me. I lived and grew up on Phillips Dr, we attened church together. I remember spending time with her and Trish Ann in her home as a child. I remember the things you taught me about being a lady. Oh yes, I also remember the stern corrections whether at home, on the street, in church, or at school, you always remained the same. Thank you for all those years of mentoring. Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish...

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome...

My 9th grade Homeroom Teacher. Rest in peace Ms. Lemon

Ms. Lemon will always be remembered. She would always remind me that the first coat I ever wore was given to me by her. She was a matriarch of this community and the seeds she planted will continue to flourish. You will always be my "Hannah." That was our little inside joke. Rest in Peace sweetie. Your battle has been fought and your victory is now won. Praise be to God!

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
