Not sure what to say?

I was so sad to hear of your passing. You were a fine and proud American that served your country well. I remember seeing you off to go in the service.I am proud of all the medals of honor you got and that you will be honored again by having the Arlington National Cemetary as your final resting place. Rest In Peace dear friend...Nancy Getzloff-Doerrler

Your friendly smile, wave, and hello's will be missed greatly in the nieghborhood...and your cute , sweet little dog! I sure will miss seeing you on your riding mower. RIP Darrell...

I was so sad to hear that Darrell had died. He was the nicest man who would go out of his way to help you if you needed it. He was very proud of his military background as he shoud be. It breaks my heart to think what he may have endured while serving his country. I will miss seeing him around town and his saying " Hey pretty Lady" and asking me how I was.

You will be missed in the neighborhood; you and your dog. Always friendly and helpful.

We salute you Darrell, thank you for all you did and gave in serving this country. May you rest in peace as your duty is done! Our condolences go out to your family.

I am very sorry for your loss. You will be in my Prayers and Thoughts.
