Velma was my classmate, at McIntosh Union High School, So sorry to hear about her passing,. So sorry I missed the Funeral. To the family You have my condolences and my prayers.

Ms. Tyrance was a great teacher. She helped me as an undergrad student at N.C. A&T in the Social Work program. She did not take no mess and that is what I loved about her.She will be missed.

Ms.Tyrance was a phenomenal professor who taught with so much compassion. I'm blessed to have had the opportunity to have her as my educator at the illustrious North Carolina Agriculture and Technical State University. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.May you rest peacefully in paradise ❤

Ms.Tyrance was absolutely amazing. She believed in, encouraged and prepared me for the real world. That was the first time I received that level of support from an educator. May she continue to Rest In Peace ❤

Im so thankful that I had the opportunity to learn from this wonderful educator while a student at North Carolina A&T State University. Ms. Tyrance was a rock in our department. She was truly a phenomenal woman. You are appreciated Maam. God Bless her.

I am saddened to learn of Mrs. Tyrances passing. She was my professor at NC A&T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina. I will never forget that effort that she put into propelling me onto my career path. I pray that God will comfort her family and all who knew and loved her.❤
