Velva A. Spencer

I just heard of her passing in the Hiram newsletter and wanted to send my sympathy. Velva and I graduated together.

Velva was the greatest friend anyone could ever have! She taught me to be a more loving and giving person through her own generosity & caring. I am a better nurse, wife and mother because of her. I will always remember her last words to me was that she loved me and my boys and she would see us in a few days. I would like to thank her family for allowing me the privilege in helping care for her those last weeks. I know I will see you again someday my friend.Let us all carry foward the love...

To the Spencer family:
Velva was a wonderful friend and I will miss her smile. Those we love don't go away, They walk beside us every day, Unseen, unheard, but always near, Still loved, still missed and very dear.

Dear Maura, I am so sorry for your loss, the short time I knew Velva was a wonderful experience for me. She had a great sense of humor and was a wonderful DON. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
