Venus Sonorra James

Venus Sonorra James was born on Decmeber 11, 1971 to Charles Kirby and Betty Carole Farmer in San Diego, California. She departed this life on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Venus was educated in the Public Schools of Florence County. She was a 1990 graduate of Wilson Senior High School. She was the owner and manager of James Construction. In addition to her parents, Venus was preceded in death by two children, Mechelle B. Ellerbe and Jordan A. James; and one sister, Donna Gail Hunter. Left to cherish precious memories of Venus are: three sons, De'Angleo (Deanna) James; Sky James; and Jefferen Gethers, all of Florence, SC; one daughter, Keondra James of Florence, SC; three grandchildren, Robert, Lamaya, and Kaleena; two James grandchildren on the way; three brothers, Leo F. James of Florence, SC; Eleazar Kirby of Tennessee; and Delreay Williams of Arkansas; two sisters, Antoniet Kirby and Hashaviah Kirby of Tennessee; three special nieces, Kathleen Williams, Anzania Moreno, and Alexis Almendarez; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
