Not sure what to say?

I first met Vera as a child in the 50's when my parents brought me and my brother to Bow and Edison to see Vera and Wayne and Ben and Dee. We also went to Aberdeen to see Helen and Charlie. I think we returned a year later, and it was those early childhood visits that established for me a link with the Alwood family in Washington. Vera was such a happy person and so much fun to be with. I will miss her smile, great stories, and sincere concern for everyone she encountered. She was a loving mother and grandmother, so very proud of her family. My sympathy to all of us who share this loss.

Dearest Vera... I have such fond memories of having "coffee" with Vera and my Grandma Nina... running back and forth from Grandma's house to Vera's house with Randy and my sister, Julie, in tow! What a great childhood we had growing up in Edison and Vera was a big part of it. I send my love out to Judy, Larry, and all the family!

Dear, sweet Vera! I have so many wonderful memories of having "coffee" with Vera and my Grandma Nina! My sister, Julie, and I would be running back and forth from Vera's to Grandma's always dragging Randy along with us! What a great friend Vera was to Grandma Nina and she loved her dearly. Vera will be missed and never forgotten! Lori (Mason) Adams

My Most sincere condolences to the family, Judy and Larry. I have many fond memories of summer holiday visits as a child. She will be missed.
