My mother, Jo French, was a "table mate" of Vera's at The Oaks. I usually eat Sunday lunch and other meals at their table sharing many stories with Ms. Vera. She was such a character! I always looked forward to visiting with her and she loved my daughter, Breanna who has cerebral palsy. Vera would always ask about Breanna whenever I visited without her.
