I loved Vera. She was my spiritual mentor. Taught me Catholicism, stood for me at my confirmation, gave me faith and my first real Bible. She lived in such a happy, spiritual way. What a gift to be able to minister to her. She was an example of what Christ calls us to be. So many memories of Vera with my family. I knew Vera because of her sister, Gail. The two of them were quite a pair. I am sure they are having fun in heaven with their sister MaryEllen.

I am heartbroken at the passing of my dear friend who I've known for almost 50 years. So many wonderful memories; camping with our families, bingo nights at Sacred Heart, backyard pool parties, sleepovers, even working at Twin Oaks was a fun experience.
