Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Dillon was one of those teachers you never forget. She had high expectations for all of her students and made you want to do your best. She was truly a great lady and will be sorely missed.

Vicki will be greatly missed by many. I will remember her smile, her wit and her warmth so very fondly. Vicki excelled in everything she attempted and her excitement was incredibly contagious.
To the family: I am so sorry to hear of Vicki's passing. She loved you all so very much. It is an honor to have known her. I'm sure she's straightening things out in Heaven today. At least, that's how I will picture her.

Please accept our deepest sympathies.

Mrs. Dillon was one of my favorite teachers in junior high. I had her for homeroom as well as North Carolina History. She was the one who sparked my interest in history that I still have after all these years. My sympathies to the Dillon family and Yvonne.

Our thought and prayers will be with the family during this time.

Robert Leon Rumley, Sr & wife Evon Mills Rumley

Our thoughts and prayers will are with the family. Vicki was a very special woman.

Mrs. Dillon! Man, what a TEACHER! I will always fondly remember the times I shared with her, not only in her classroom, where she was the BEST!, but also in life, around Madison and where-ever I happened to meet to her. I will definitely miss her. My love and all my sympathy are extended to the entire Dillon and Washburn families.

I can remember like it was yesterday, sitting in Vicki's NC History class. I always loved going to her class because she made it all come alive for me and instilled in me my love for history. Of the many teachers I have had over the years, she was one of the best.

Viki was a special person to me. Her dedication to her students and fellow teachers will always be remembered. She served as a mentor to me, as well as many others. What a blessing to have known her!
