Vera Eccarius-Kelly

as a long time listener of WAMC's roundtable, i grew very fond of vera...her intellect, her heart and her buoyant personality always made me happy she was a guest on a particular day...this obituary seems to convey all that she was to her family, her friends, her students and listeners of the roundtable...such a loss to the world at large...my thoughts are with those who she meant so much to....

Rest in peace, dear friend. We met a long time at Fletcher, I always remembered your kindness and humility. I witnessed your travels and hikes over the past years via Facebook, it was so comforting to reconnect from afar. I learnt about your illness, I so hoped you would recover. I am so sad to see you go, the world will miss your light! Sending compassion and love to your family and loved ones.
