Vera Lee Edwards

I am very sad to hear of "Miss Vera´s" passing. It was a joy to know her over the past few years. She was the epitome of a graceful, southern lady. She always showed an interest in others and looked out for my mom during mealtimes. We had some great conversations about family and life. Praying for you all during this time of grief and sadness. I extend to you all my sincerest condolences. I was privileged to know Vera and Fred at Spring Hill Baptist Church in Mobile. Vera and I shared teaching in an adult ladies SS class. Uniquely, at the same time, my mother was in the class. She, Vera and Fred became good friends. I will forever remember both of their many kindnesses to both my mother and me. What a life well-lived! She leaves a tremendous legacy to all of you! Elizabeth Ann
