Vera was a wonderful person who blessed many people with her generosity and dedication to the ministries of Westminster Presbyterian Church where I knew her. My deepest sympathy to Mark, George and all the family.

I´m so sorry to hear about the passing of Vera. She was truly a saint and did so much for the church and its members. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends! Rest in Peace, Vera!

So sorry for family: yours is a great loss, especially Mark, my friend. I still remember her joyful work when I collected daily from D&.W the outdated baker items and many pound cakes were given . "Oh great! We´ll freeze them for Degage.!" She was such a Kingdom worker, even when we deacons collected the communion cups to wash. Made everyone feel so much joy because she shared hers! Mark an George, My thoughts and prayers are with you both at this time. Vera was one of a kind mom an wife. It was my privilege to have helped take care of her. Vera will be truly missed. Having know George from when I first started at the airport in 1969, he worked for the US Postal Service and delivered mail to us for our flights at North Central Airlines. We continued our friendship since then. A couple years ago George could not long drive a car, so I met his wife Vera when I would take him to run errands from time to time. I remember how wonderful and beautiful Vera was. I have such sweet childhood memories of walking to the Hendricks house to spend the night with Robin.
