I will remember
Her radiant smile
And the lightness of her laugh
Her sparkle
Her graceful and easy gait
(She could walk that extra mile)
Her kindness, gentleness
And generosity
Her willingness to wait
Her courage and commitment
Her conscientiousness
(She cared
And was almost never late)
Her compassion
Her courtesy
Her...

What a loss...what a loss. Vera Jacyk was truly noble in the finest sense. I was privileged to have known Vera. I think also of her profound and powerful works which I think about often. I will always cherish her memory. We are diminished by her passing.

I am deeply saddened by Vera's death. I took art lessons with her, attend Plast and we knew her family. She was a kind and gifted person.

I am deeply saddened to read of Vera's passing. I remember her during high school days at Humberside Collegiate Institute. May she rest in peace.

The heavines of my heart is lightened by the memories of adventures that we experienced together along with the many beautiful gifts that grace my home which she so generously gave.

Vera will always be remembered on Indian Grove as that really terrific "cool artsy person". We loved her for her her passion, her art and her beautiful soul. She will be greatly missed.
