Aunt Vera was a wonderful wife and mother, and she leaves behind a legacy of love. I'm going to personally miss her quick wit and dry sense of humor....and the stories that my mother passed along to me, after visiting with her sister Vera on the phone every week. Uncle Johnny, Tammy and Scotty...you took such great care of her when she became ill...She knew you were there, but she had to let go. Her strength and love will always be a part of you.

Aunt Vera...as a child I loved her, as an adult, I knew why I loved her.

My Aunt Vera was a very special lady, who loved the Lord and I know she is in his loving arms now, no more pain, no more suffering!I pray for God's peace and comfort, during this difficult time, for my Uncle Johnny,Scott, Tammie, and Mitchell. I know she is celebrating in Heaven with Uncle Royce, Peggy, Petie and John!!

My kind Aunt Vera-I always knew you were there. I will miss you and hope you are with Daddy and our other loved ones. To Johnny, Scott and Tammy, I will pray for your strength. No family could have done a better job caring for her. Will see you soon. God be with you.

Vera was a special woman who was wryly funny, very friendly and had wonderful style. I think she had the soul of an artist. I'm sad to know I won't be seeing her again. She leaves us with lots of good memories. Now she can rest easy. Cathra-Anne Barker ( Santa Fe, NM )
