One woman I will not forget is Mrs. Morris, so very special! I met her through the brotherly relationship of our two sons-- "Ma" to each-- and came to respect her because of her down to earth honesty, saying what she felt needed to be said. That I appreciated, even if I disagreed. Disagreeing wasn't so easy with Mrs. Morris; it was easier to just shut up!
She loved flowers, but they needed to be legit, coming from my yard, difficult in the winter. The last bunch sits in my dining room,...
