Pottle of Fairview, TN and Julie Ellen of Van Buren, AR. Cherished sister of Doris Garufo of Norwood, Audrey Gass of Hixon, TN and the late Robert Wike; loving grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 2. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 1 at 3pm at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home, 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) READING. Relatives and friends invited to attend. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-3. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Vera's memory to the Friend's of the Reading Public Library, 64 Middlesex Ave., Reading, MA 01867. Vera, you were an inspiration to everyone. I will always remember how you made Julie smile when you went to visit her, and take care of her puppy Miss Lilly when she went to work. You will be sadly missed.
