Aunt Verble was my father Roby Collins sister. My fondest memories of my Dad and his siblings was a dedication to family. Dad use to tell us "All you really have in life is your family." I remember big family gatherings in Michigan, where Aunt Verble and her siblings and all the cousins played together. Their was always loud ruckus speaking and laughter, so much laughter. I specifically remember the families getting together for card games on the weekends. The adults filled the house...

Growing u in Detroit and East Detroit in the late 60-70's I spent a lot of time at my Aunt Verble's house playing with the cousins closest to my age, Debbie and Johnny.I spent hours carefully plucking her gray hairs for a [penny a piece so that we kids would then walk to the store and buy a bag full of candy,lol.There was always a huge pot of spaghetti or something in the kitchen for her 7 kids and whoever else wandered in. She was wonderful and funny and I loved her big laugh.I learned so...

We have not seen Aunt Verbal in many years, but as one of Roby's Seven girls, I can tell you she was always kind and loving to all of us. We remember her with love and admiration and offer our deepest sympathies.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I will always fondly remember spending time with Aunt Verble and all my cousins in Michigan. Happy memories surrounded by the love of family.
