Not sure what to say?

Brother Nyland was very special to me and my family. Not only was he a faithful home teacher but a wonderful example of living the gospel. He always took time for youth firesides and personal counsel. I cherish the patriarchal blessing he gave me. We will always love Brother and Sister Nyland.

Dear Mildred & Nora: You have been in my thoughts. It's hard to imagine the world without Brother Nyland. But what great joy on the other side! He used to say to be so solemnly: Be of good cheer. He would say it again now, I'm certain. Love to all of you & I would love to have your mailing address. We are all fine & have our third grandchild on the way. We will keep you in our prayers! Love, Rosie

What wonderful memories I have of Brother Nyland. A great teacher, a great Patriarch, a great hometeacher, and a great friend to young and old. Also Sister Nyland. Both are a big part of why I have my testimony. Thank you.
Love, Susan McDavitt Hale

We wish to express our sincere sympathy to the Nyland family on your loss, though it be only temporary. We received our patriarchal blessings through the hands of Brother Verdell Nyland, and we loved him so much.

Wilma and I send our condolences to the family. We have known the Nylands for many years. Del was our home teacher when we lived in Raytown. What a choice family.

Dear Mildred and Family:
Our Memories are all pleasant experiences where the Nylands were a part of. I know Dell will be missed - but what a wonderful legacy he has left. You all have a wonderful family and can be justly proud of them. I'm sure Heavenly Father is mindful of what you'all have accomplished. I'm sure that everyone that has known the Nylands is looking forward to a meeting of all after this short life span here. We Love you'all ahd want to keep in touch.
