Not sure what to say?

To all the Slees and associates, thinking of you at this time, as Irene Baas left us just days before Vergil.

Hi Dan,
We were so sorry to read of the death of your father. He was obviously a very intelligent, active and respected man. May you remember him with many happy memories.
Don and Barb Chaffin

Though I never met Deb's Mom and Dad, she (and HJ) have spoken with much love and kindness about Deb's parents. From everything I have heard, her Dad's last years were a quiet and gentle winding down. My sympathy to everyone in the family.
Barbara Beltand (HJ's biking group and Deb's hiking group)

We will all miss Vergil, his wit, his knowledge and his friendship. The many years I spent at CPHA will always be in my memory. I hope that his family will have many good memories of his life which he lived with vim and vigor.

Jack Perlman, Louisville, KY

Condolences to the family upon Vergil's passing. I remember the family well, both from my school days and also First Methodist church.

I worked for Dr. Slee at CPHA for seven years. He had a great intellect, but also a sense of humor. His contribution to the science of health care information over the years is one of his greatest legacies.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss.
May your memories bring you comfort.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I was one of the priviliged persons to work for and with Dr. Slee back in the 1950s-60s in the First National Building in downtown Ann Arbor. Our staff was 'family' and we were a 'team.' I look back at those five years as a period of personal growth and development. CPHA was a wonderful place to work. Dr. Slee was a mentor to us all. Rest in Peace.

Thinking about the family you enjoyed and left behind.
