I knew Curly from the 50s when he worked for my grandparents on their farm at St. Joseph. He was (almost) always in a good mood, easy to be around. Then I was gone from this area for 50 years, and I only saw him once in recent years, at my Aunt Dorothy Hayes's funeral.
I'm sorry I didn't reconnect with him.

I remember Curly from my younger days, driving with my dad (Tom Kohlmeier) to goose island to visit with him. He always had a treat for me, and was so funny to be around! Haven't seen him in over 25 years, but remember him fondly! My condolences to his family.
