Verl Chidester Ogden

What a legacy this man left to the world, his church and his family! I know one of this daughters, Lola, and after reading her dear father's obituary I see that her kindness, caring and dedication to family comes in her genes. Condolences to the family, and may Mr. Ogden rest in his well earned sleep in faith.

While I am sad to learn of Bishop Ogden's death, I have many fond memories of the friendship of the Ogden family. Verl was my bishop when I returned from my mission and when Faline and I were first married and lived in Richfield. I consider Wayne a very good friend. My life was enriched by sharing living space with Wayne and Lynn in Logan. I also think the world of Laurel and Carren. Even though I will not be able to attend the funeral, the family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
