Read MoreI knew Verla since I was little kid she was always friendly and outgoing, a wonderful person. As young teenagers we would go into the restaurant some of us would come up a little short sometimes and she would dig into her apron and cover it for us. My grandfather who was the local Sheriff always made sure she was paid back.
