You’re all in my prayers during this difficult time. I was so young when we moved away from Pearl City, but every time we came to visit your family greeted us like we still lived down the road. Verlyn was always smiling and happy and I will always remember the love he had for his family and friends.

My family loved your family and so appreciated your friendship towards us all. Verlyn was a great man with a gentle spirit and a smile that lit up the room. He is lighting up heaven with that smile right now.
