I fondly remember my years working with Vern in the Basin. It was such a pleasure to reconnect with him at our retiree lunches in Spokane. I will miss his smile.

My path crossed with Lt Vern at WSP Wenatchee as I was hired to assist in the administration area. The Griffith tribe moved across the street from my in-laws and the younger members of the tribe became "June's Kids" in her home daycare. Jodi informed me of Vern's unexpected passing on this past Friday. May his memories keep you tell the time you are reunited. It Vern rest easy your watch is done.
