Vern C. Jones, born May 1, 1925 in Minneapolis MN passed away August 26, 2018 at his home in Fair Oaks CA at the age of 93. Son of Cleo V. Jones and Mable Jones (Otteson), Vern grew up in the mid-west and attended high school in Peoria Illinois, where he won the state wrestling championship....

And I would love to hear from Gloria, if she ever has time, about the story of my dad, George Hahn, who was the doctor at that Truckee Hospital, after you and Vern had your skiing accident and met.
My mother, Avalon, just told me that story, but I would love to hear more, since it sounded like you all were having a wonderful time.
