Verna A. Franklin (nee Beard ), age 50 passed away suddenly Saturday January 12, 2013 at her residence in Bensalem. Born in the Frankford section of Philadelphia, and raised in Warminster, she lived in Bensalem for 18 years. Verna was a graduate of William Tennent High School , Class of 1980. She worked as a building inspector for Bensalem Township.
Wife of Francis X. Franklin Jr.; devoted mother of Felicia M. Franklin , Francis X. Franklin III, and the late Alexandra E. Beard ; loving sister of Geraldine R. Zahreddine ( her twin), Roseanne Kasper , Leo J. Kasper Jr. and Mark A. Kasper ; also survived by nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday afternoon from 2:30pm - 4:00pm at the Fluehr Funeral Home, 864 Bristol Pike (Rt. 13) Bensalem , Pa. 19020. Interment will be private.
