Verna and I were classmates at Simley. At a sleep over Verna gave me my first ear piercing. I was such a big baby about it her mom thought Verna was removing my ear lobes.
Once she moved from Inver Grove we lost touch but always admired her positive attitude and contagious laughter.

To Verna Mae's Family,
I've known Verna since 2nd grade. Her mom was our brownie leader. I haven't seen that much of her in the past years, but she was one of my treasured friends all through school and the years following. I am sorry for your loss and hope your memories will bring smiles to your faces. I know my memories always do. I'll bet her and Kathy have already got together in heaven! Rest in peace Verna.
