Not sure what to say?

Verna was a wonderful neighbor and friend to myself, my brother and my mom and dad over the past 30+ years. I have a few of those gorgeous afghans that she made over the years. Verna also gave me lots of advice as I became a teacher. It has been wonderful knowing Verna for so many years. She will be missed and most importantly remembered. Nancy and Steve Bratt/ Don O'Neill

Although Verna was not able to come to church for quite some time, some of us from church alternately visited her. She was a delight and welcoming lady who will be missed by many of us at Resurrection.

I remember Verna as my Principal at Jefferson High School. She set standards and enforced them with a caring heart. And yes, I remember times with my family at the beach house. We will all miss this gracious lady. To Verna's family, sincere sympathy.

You will be missed, Verna. Over the years our long chats on the phone and happy memories of time at your beach house, which our family has called it's 2nd home since 1971 have meant so much. To your family, sincere sympathy for your loss, it is ours as well.

Dave and Donna Hodge and family

Verna was an amazing woman and I enjoyed finally meeting her one day while dropping off the key to the beach house. It was great putting a face to the voice after so many years. She was so proud of her family and their accomplishments. Thanks Verna for adding us to your very select list of renters, we have many fond memories that will last a lifetime and many rocks left on the mantel.
