Verne Henry Leininger

Verne was born on April 1, 1939 and passed away on Monday, October 14, 2019. Verne graduated from Stryker High School, Stryker, Ohio, Manchester College, North Manchester, and Bethany Theological Seminary (1964), Richmond. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Ann Leininger Cheeseman and her husband, Robert Warwick Cheeseman, III. Visitation will be Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. Visitation will also be Friday, October 18, 2019 from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral service at Bethany Church of the Brethren, 19003 U.S. Hwy 6, New Paris. Burial will be 10 a.m., Saturday, October 19, 2019 in Poplar Ridge Cemetery, Defiance, Ohio.
