Not sure what to say?

Your mother was truly a lady of God in every sense of the word. She touched my life in so many wonderful ways. We are blessed having her and all of you in our lives. I look forward to a great reunion in Heaven with your wonderful mother

Dear Family of Vernetta,
How she loved you, and so appreciated the wonderful love you gave her in return. Thank you for sharing this amazing lady with so many of us outside of your family. I felt very privileged to have her for my Special friend. Her notes of encouragement, concerns, prayers, goodies and the list could go on were treasured and always the highlight of my day. Your Mom was Jesus with "skin" to so many, sharing her love for her Master right to the very end. Vernetta will...

Can't think of meaningful enough words to describe this amazing Godly woman. So happy for her that she is pain-free and in the presence of her Father and at the same time praying for all of her family and friends who are left behind, missing her.

I met Vernetta while she was in the same apartment complex as my mom. She was always baking or bringing my mom something to eat. She was a very sweet lady and I enjoyed talking with her when I visited from Texas. You would have never guessed her age, as she was a very active person. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I would get lovely, handwritten notes from Vernetta from time to time -- she was such an encourager! She was young at heart, too, and I had no idea she was nearly 99! (I would have put her 15 years younger.) I know you, her family, will miss such a wonderful lady tremendously, but she's home with Jesus, the Lord she loved and served so much and so well. May God's comfort bring you great peace!

Certainly a "One of a kind" in so many ways! Her words of encouragement in difficult times have meant more than words can say. She will forever hold a very special place in our hearts. Love to all the family as you remember her and celebrate her awesome example in life to so many.
