What an amazing man Judge Jansen was. You certainly have a rich heritage. I am glad for you that your dad's travails are over and he is now at peace and welcomed home by God who is the Great Shepherd, with us all, even through the valley of the shadow of death, and welcoming us to that feast forever in God's presence.

Dear Terri,
John and I are thinking so much about you as you move through these first hard days after your father's death. I know all too well what they are like, since it has only been about six weeks since my mother's death in South Carolina. I know you need a bit of quiet right now, so we will be in touch to share our thoughts and remembrances of our loved ones when a short amount of time has elapsed.
