Not sure what to say?

Jennifer, Sheila, Ronnie, Doris and the rest of the family;
Ron & Vernon grew up together since they were 5 years old. Vernon used to be at our house all the time, and they would get to talking about all the antics they pulled growing up. You couldn't even guess some of them. We really enjoyed all our times together. Our daughter, Rhonda, knew him as Uncle Vernon, as did her son, Austin. Ron and Austin would go up to the VA and visit him. Jenn and Jason spent summers at our house. And...

rest in peace uncle vernon.

I remember Vernon as just a nice guy in North Little Rock High School back in the early 60s. I am sorry he has passed from this earth but am sure he'll be fine eternally.
My sincere condolences to his family.

My Mother Louise Abbott was married to Vernon Ray's father, Vernon. My Mother is paralyzed on one side from strokes and is unable to attend the funeral & for the same reason my sister Groverlyn & my husband, David and I can not come. Please know that we wish that we could come and we all would if it were possible. Groverlyn informed me (my Mother cannot communicate well verbally) and we are sending flowers in loving memory of Vernon Ray. I met him a few times and each time he was helping us....
