Dear Allred family, Vernon was a special person to me. When I was a boy of 12 years old back in 1955, he became like an older man to a fatherless boy to me, he and Clarence Miller took me under their wing and guided me in the way of the truth. I will always be gratful to them both. I look forward to the day of the resurrection to see them both again. May Jehovah contuine to bless your family

It is a sad time for the survivors now but in just a little while we will see this take place. Found at John 5:28,29 Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life and Brother Allred will be among these.

I spent many summers and weeks in December in your home and those are memories that I shall treasure. The very first taco that I ever ate was with you after one of your trips to Mexico. The travel trailers out back so you could sleep during the day were always a source of delight for me when Deborah and I would sit out there. Thanks for the memories.

My dear friends, how sad we all are for the loss of our dear Brother Allred. This gives us another good reason to continue in Jehovah's service remembering that soon we can see our dead loved ones in the promised resurrection. My love to the whole family. Remembering that Jehovah is our comforter if only we will ask. Love, Alberta Cline and boys
