Not sure what to say?

My life was forever changed by this wonderful man. I could always count on a huge smile and a hardy chuckle with my Dad around. His smile will forever stay in my heart and his laugh will echo in my soul till we can sing together again. I love you Dad!

The world has lost a great man and gained a great memory. Thanks Dad.

I will miss you greatly grandpa. It was an honor and absolute pleasure knowing you, your kind heart and kind words. From man trips to fine dining, thank you for all the laughs and memories.

I am thankful for such wonderful memomories left for me to cherish. I love you Grandpa and not a day has gone by that I haven't thought of you.

I am thankful for the countless memories you have left with me. I love you Grandpa, and have not gone a day without thinking of you.

I met Vern through the theater, while putting on his makeup for one of his roles. What a sweet loving man he was. Always a smile on his face to share. Loved his laugh. My heart goes out to you, Janet.
Janet Scott

Janet, I'm aching with you. I'm here for you and your family. The Summerville community has lost a new family member but remains ready to help and heal at a moment's notice.

A beautiful tribute to a wonderful person. We were so lucky to have him as a family member and treasure the shared times and memories.

We were blessed to have Vern as a member of Citizens on Proactive Patrol as well as an active block watch member. What a kind, generous man. Janet, you are in our thoughts and prayers - MVPD
