From Pastor Carter, I learned a great deal about life, human relations, and the power of the holy spirit. I enjoyed working with him as All Saint's Lay Associate. I will always remember the "School of Universal Blackness", The church Fairs, and dinners at All Saints; and most of all, his pre-marital counseling to myself and my fiance, Lynn Benander, as well as his participation in our wedding.

My uncle taught us to Be and appreciate all in Life that is good. To try and make the flaws correct so that there were less conflicts and barriers for those that followed would have less to bear. Our family will miss and always love him and his memory.
