Vernon M. Chestang, Jr., a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL passed away on January 23, 2021. He was surrounded by family.
Vernon was a graduate of Central High School and spent most of his working life at Scott Paper Company and Kimberly Clark.
Vernon was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to spend his time in the woods and on the water. Vernon enjoyed a lively debate. He was a Mr. Fixit, who could repair just about anything.
He is preceded in death by his parents Vernon and Dorothy Chestang; siblings Sybil and Larry.
Vernon is survived by his wife, Patricia Chestang; children Janine and Vernon III; stepdaughter Jennifer; siblings Michael, Velma and Evelyn and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Graveside service will be held at the Catholic Cemetery on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 11:00am.
