Not sure what to say?

Vernon actually worked for my dear grandfather Howard SULLIVAN at the Navy Bureau of Yards and Docks before I was even born. I met him many years later after moving into my grandfathers house in Davidsonville and found him to be a charming interesting and extremely talented man. My Mother was also acquainted with his Mother Ivy. I am sorry to just now learn of his passing but 102 is a fine ripe age. My condolences to those he leaves behind.

Yes, Christina he was accomplished! On a personal level, he was outstanding too. I know he would want you to continue to live the life that he isn't right now. Godsend,

Vernon was a most interesting man and he had a full and healthy life with a wonderful family. My mother, Pat Collins Foster, was Vernon's cousin. Her sister Jeanne Collins Powell, daughter, Pam, my brother Jim Foster and I attended Vernon's 100th birthday party. I can still see him dancing his ballroom moves with Kristina. I know Vernon will be greatly missed but I'm sure he danced all the way to his next journey.
