Grandaddy was one of the most vibrant, amazing people I've ever known or will know. I don't have enough space to tell all the stories that I collected over the years.

Ned, I'm going to miss talking with you on Saturday nights and coming home to eat with you at the dining room table and debate politics.

Your memory lives on in all of us, and you'll have a great-grandaughter in the next few weeks. Rest assured, she'll hear about all of the great stories and things...

Cindy and family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your Dad. I'm sending prayers and positive thoughts your way.

Vernon was a mentor and role model for many of us at State Farm Insurance. Always a friend with a smile and support. Forever displaying character in his job and personal life. You will be missed.
My sympathy to all the family.

Cindy and Buddy, that you for allowing me to come in and care for Mr. Gause. It was a pleasure caring for him. My condolences are with you. May god give you peace in knowing that you did all you could to make sure he was well cared for. Thank you again.

Cindi, Buddy, I attempted to call but was unable to reach you. You Dad was a fine man whose name spelled "Character" You could always believe what he said and he would do exactly what he told you he was going to do. We had lots of fun together.
I remember the two of you when you would be in the office after school.

He will be missed by his family and many friends. I look forward to seeing them again.

Many years ago I worked with Mr. Gause through the claims department at State Farm Insurance. I always found him to be very hospitable and kind. He was a nice man. I pray for the family during this time.
