I seen this the other day & knew right away even before the picture today that this had to be Vern. I worked out of Findlay for Ohio Bell but spent alot of time in Tiffin & i always enjoyed talking to Vern. One of the nicest guys i beleive i have ever known. I remember a day when we had to walk about a 1/2 mile back off the road to a hole on the toll route & everything had to be carried in by hand. Vern picked up a 2 inch water pump ( heavy ) & put it up on his shoulder & took off jogging...
